Many of the fairly generic Legendary Lords such as Kemmler and Karl Franz are getting new skill trees and faction-wide effects to spice up the gameplay, while some of the units such as the Minotaurs, Dwarf Cannons and Bolt Throwers are getting their much-deserved buffs. The Empire AI will now start with the entire Reikland province which should ensure they actually reach the end-game, Chaos now replenishes their forces more quickly and is able to subjugate Norscans more easily, and the Wood Elves are getting some rather interesting followers that come with massive pros and equally massive cons.

If you don't feel like buying the DLC, worry not as Norsca will be present in both the singleplayer campaign and multiplayer, so you'll still be able to make a cozy mammoth rug out of them.Īs for the free update, its pretty much everything the community has been asking for these past few months. Norsca itself will be given for free to everyone who pre-orders or purchases Total War: Warhammer 2 within the first week of launch, though it will also be available as a standalone purchase.

On August 10th Total War: Warhammer will be getting the long-awaited Norsca DLC, as well as an accompanying update that fixes many of the issues found throughout the Old World.
